HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Just show up wearing comfortable clothing & tennis shoes. Bring a water bottle and a sweat towel, if you want! All class equipment is provided. No pre-registration required! If you would like to have a Fitness Orientation before actually hitting the gym, we have staff that can help you get set up with what classes we offer, what would be appropriate workouts for you based on interests and goals, and show you how to use the equipment. Come see us at the Welcome Center to schedule your appointment today!

GROUP LAND FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
BETTER BONES & BALANCE™: This exercise program is designed to improve muscle strength, balance and age-related bone loss. Enjoy a combo of cardio, weights and balance exercises. Perfect for women, seniors, and beginners.
BOLE: BeOnLightEnergy – Exude vitality by using shaking motion to stimulate growth in your nervous system. Thereby increasing bandwidths of your nervous system, greater cardio circulation, and pumping action of your lymphatic system. Smiling into strength, flexibility and endurance. Feeling great along the way.
*BOOTCAMP: Weight training, functional body weight, and TRX exercises in a circuit themed format.
*CYCLING: An indoor group cycling class that caters to participants of all fitness levels. You control your own resistance and speed and use our new state-of-the-art power meter on your spin bike to progress forward from your current fitness level. This easy to follow class gives you a great cardiovascular workout.
*DANCE FITNESS: A HIIT format fusing Top 40 music with basic dance moves and body weight calisthenics.
GENTLE YOGA: Improve your balance, strength, and agility with flowing yoga poses. This class is designed to help you sculpt muscle and gain flexibility as well as reduce the stress of everyday life. Bring a yoga mat or use one ours.
*KICK BOXING: Choreographed boxing and kicking combinations set to the beat of music and blended with creative, new aerobic movements. One of the hottest trends in exercise!
MUSCLE PUMP: Using an adjustable barbell, this full-body workout will burn calories, shape and tone your entire body, increase core strength and improve bone health. Our instructors bring encouragement, motivation and great music to get you PUMPED!
PILATES: A core conditioning and matwork class, focusing on strengthening the lower back and abdominal muscles of the body.
POWER YOGA: This class incorporated strength postures while focusing on engaging your core strength and building endurance.
SENIOR STRETCH: This 30-minute class brings greater ease, comfort and capability in daily life. If you’ve been feeling tight, stiff, or stressed this class might be just what you need to get started or to keep moving. Easy to follow exercises with a sense of community in every class!
SENIOR CIRCUIT: Held in our weight room, an instructor will lead workouts in our machine circuit. A safe and educational way for seniors to get muscle strengthening exercise.
STRONG: A challenging, HIIT workout, with zero dancing involved. Using only your own body weight for resistance, you will gain muscular endurance, tone, and definition, and you will experience an increased afterburn. STRONG is a high impact and intensity, not recommended for those with back pain/or knee pain.
VINYASA YOGA: This class synchronizes movement with breath as yoga postures flow from one to the next. The all-levels class moves as a flowing practice. Students learn new poses which may include: inversions and arm balances, along with sun salutes, warrior poses, standing poses, forward bends, meditation, and relaxation. Bring a yoga mat or use one ours.
WOMEN’S CIRCUIT TRAINING: Held in the weight room using machines, free weights and cable equipment. Easy to follow routines, with no fancy choreography to learn, are changed often. Workout sessions increase your muscular endurance, strength and flexibility.
YOGA: Improve your balance, strength and agility with flowing yoga poses. This class is designed to help you sculpt muscle and gain flexibility as well as reduce the stress of everyday life. Bring a yoga mat or use one of ours.
ZUMBA: It’s not a workout, it’s a party! Move your body to the dance rhythms of cha cha, salsa, tango, merengue and more! A fun, aerobic workout with a sense of friends and belonging.
ZUMBA GOLD: This is Zumba based cardio with slower and less complicated patterns. Designed for active older adults, or new-comers looking to get started or keep moving with a great fitness program!
