HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Just show up wearing comfortable clothing & tennis shoes. Bring a water bottle and a sweat towel, if you want! All class equipment is provided. No pre-registration required! If you would like to have a Fitness Orientation before actually hitting the gym, we have staff that can help you get set up with what classes we offer, what would be appropriate workouts for you based on interests and goals, and show you how to use the equipment. Come see us at the Welcome Center to schedule your appointment today!
GROUP LAND FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
BETTER BONES & BALANCE™: This exercise program is designed to improve muscle strength, balance and age-related bone loss. Enjoy a combo of cardio, weights and balance exercises. Perfect for women, seniors, and beginners.
*BOOTCAMP: Weight training, functional body weight, and TRX exercises in a circuit themed format.
*SPIN: An indoor group cycling class that caters to participants of all fitness levels. You control your own resistance and speed and use our new state-of-the-art power meter on your spin bike to progress forward from your current fitness level. This easy to follow class gives you a great cardiovascular workout.
*DANCE FITNESS: A HIIT format fusing Top 40 music with basic dance moves and body weight calisthenics.
PILATES: A core conditioning and matwork class, focusing on strengthening the lower back and abdominal muscles of the body.
POWER YOGA: This class incorporated strength postures while focusing on engaging your core strength and building endurance.
YOGA: Improve your balance, strength and agility with flowing yoga poses. This class is designed to help you sculpt muscle and gain flexibility as well as reduce the stress of everyday life. Bring a yoga mat or use one of ours.
ZUMBA: It’s not a workout, it’s a party! Move your body to the dance rhythms of cha cha, salsa, tango, merengue and more! A fun, aerobic workout with a sense of friends and belonging.
ZUMBA GOLD: This is Zumba based cardio with slower and less complicated patterns. Designed for active older adults, or new-comers looking to get started or keep moving with a great fitness program!
