YMCA Swim Team
The Mid-Willamette Family YMCA is starting a recreational swim team. We have created a fun, positive atmosphere where kids can come together and learn the four competitive strokes, and increase their lifetime commitment to fitness. We have openings at all levels, team members must be 6-18 years old, and be able to swim the length of the pool
Fees for the Albany YMCA swim team: Annual Insurance: $46.00 Oregon Swim Institute Monthly Costs: Swim Meets The swim team will be participating in various swim meets with other teams in our local area. We will also be apart of the YMCA league which includes Eugene, Sherwood, and the Portland area. The 2005 YMCA state meet with be in the Portland area, and the regional meet will be in Boise, Idaho. Participation in swim meets is not mandatory, but encouraged. Parent Participation Parent involvement throughout the year is an important ingredient to your child's success in any activity. We ask your help in making the YMCA swim team a success for your child, yourself and our YMCA. |
