We Make Art
We Make Art is an art education collaborative led by three female artists who strive to bring creativity through painting, and crafting to the Willamette Valley. Established in 2020, the three owners Britni Pitochelli, Claudia Earl, and Branislava Backer have connected and partnered with communities from every walk of life. We Make Art has brought art education to several Title 1 & 2 elementary schools (primarily in the Salem-Keizer Public Schools District), as well as senior centers, church groups, and neighborhood community events. Art classes are not the only thing they have become known for; they have made it their mission to give back by contributing donations to local high school graduating classes, donating classes to the Community Action Agency in Salem, and partnering to put on fundraisers for various causes throughout the Valley.
Where the artists are happiest, and can be most commonly found is, teaching art to a complete range of individuals - from 5 years old, to 95 years old. They specialize in acrylic paintings, however, they also offer classes using watercolor, alcohol ink, clay, mixed media, floral, and much more! Their public class schedule can be found on their website at wemakeartor.com.
